TASK 1: analyze the following texts and identify: deictic expressions in the texts, and group them based on their categories. Explain each expression by QUOTING relevant parts of the original text. OPERATION GRANGER Detectives investigating a series of serious indecent assaults in Havant and Hayling Island know that at least two were carried out by the same man. And the methods used in the other incidents- between December 1999 and July 2000- suggest that he could also have been responsible for at least three others.
